Mazaan Kruger, 1, and her loving carer Francina Sekhu were brutally assaulted by an armed gang on Thursday – and the Afrikaans baby was so badly battered that her skull was crushed and she fell into a coma at once. Was this really just another ‘ordinary crime’? Or was this a hate-crime targetting an Afrikaans baby and her carer by black racists who stole very little of value – but were targetting the child deliberately?
